Sizzler

As I arrived home from school my sister Steph invited me and my brother to go with her to Sizzler for dinner. I don't remember having been there, nor did I have other plans, so I agreed. We drove about 10 minutes to find the location, I'm not sure if that was the closest....I ordered the Steak and Lobster, normally 23.99 on sale for 16.99, and my brother ordered a full rack of ribs. (I only mention the food I tried). My steak was upgraded from a 6 oz o 8 oz at my request and we were sent off to find our own table.

Why do I have to find my own table?

We sat down and waited about 10 minutes for our server to find our hidden location next to the salad bar and take some drink orders. Pepsi. mmmmm. Then we waited another 10 for our food. Mine, Jer's and Steph's came out before the two kids. We all agreed that was strange to give the adults food first when the hungry crazy hyper kids were still waiting for their mundane cheese pizza. (not very good pizza either). So we start eating. My Lobster is average and steak unseasoned, though they did provide some A1 steak sauce and some house sauce which were just like every other A1 sauce I've had. They just put their name on it and added some water.

I ate everything on my late which came with "Steamed Vegetables" which turned out just to be broccoli. I ate it all and was considerably unsatisfied. So I ate what was left of my brother's. About 1/2 rack. (apparently he cant eat more than a pea size of food). The ribs were, you guessed it, mundane. Unseasoned, but not bad with the A1 sauce. Good job sizzler for doing what most living organisms can do at home. \

The servers weren't even that cute.

The best part of the meal was my Pepsi...but how can you go wrong with a fountain drink? I'm sure Sizzler could find a way.

I will not criticize the salad/fruit bar as I did not eat anything from it but some pineapple and a boiled egg which i shoved in its entirety into my mouth to amuse my niece.

Overall it seems like an overpriced restaurant for lower income families to feel like they are "treating themselves"

Or maybe I'm just in a critical mood. Stay tuned for "Simply Sushi"

I agree - I've never really liked Sizzler.
